Africa has been Sally’s home for the last three decades. She has lived, like Karen Bixen, at the foot of the Ngong Hills, and spent a number of very happy years on the flamingo-fringed shores of Lake Elemntaita. Kenya’s wildlife and wilderness continue to be a source of breathtaking inspiration, which can all be seen in this wonderful collection.
Earrings
Sacred in many cultures, snake symbolism has a long-standing power of healing. An all-time favourite from Sally's nature collection.

The acacia tree symbolises the Kenyan wilderness, it represents regeneration, perseverance, and integrity. Slightly further afield, the ancient Egyptians believed that their first gods were born under a cosmic acacia tree, Acacia tortilis (umbrella thorn).

Fulani seed pods earrings. These beautiful earrings are inspired by a tribe in Niger, West Africa who originally wore huge gold earrings styled on the Fulani seed pod. Sally has used the original earrings as a template and crafted a more easy to wear design that still exudes the essence of the original.

Exquisitely intricate beadwork collar necklaces created in Sally’s workshop in Nairobi. The collars are based on traditional Maasai adornments. Each collar takes between 8 to 10 days to create.
